Happy Monday!
The team had a busy weekend working on funnels and emails, getting ready for the big move.
You would think as a developer that I would love WordPress because it has so many automation possibilities. It's got an amazing API and so many plugins to integrate with.
Kajabi is a much simpler platform. Less feature-rich. A one-stop shop.
There are several reasons, but the simplest is . . . cost.
WordPress is a platform.
You build structures on a platform.
The platform itself may be cheap plywood, but that's only the foundation.
WooCommerce for e-commerce, MemberPress for community, UpdatePlus for backups, the list goes on and on--each is a subscription.
As much as I love WordPress, it's a money magnet at scale.
For now, I'd much rather have a fixed, predictable, lower cost with the core features we need.
We're going to lose substantial automation features, but I'll address that tomorrow!
We're moving!
