Happy Monday!

I had a pretty insane weekend working on training tools for the upcoming Pack Training. It's going to be epic . . . I'm working with my team to provide the most amazing set of resources.

In between times, I'm reading a book called Mindset by Carol Dweck. It's a powerful book that shows how there are two fundamental mindsets when it comes to potential and learning. The FIXED mindset plays it safe. They stick to what they know, avoid challenges, give up quickly and view any kind of failure as a failure in their identity.

The GROWTH mindset constantly looks for challenge. They know that failure and criticism is a part of education.

I've been a developer for over 35 years and coding is "easy" for me. But I didn't just wake up one day as a coder.

I've conservatively calculated that I've probably spent over 60-70,000 hours writing code in my lifetime.

But I'm deeply sympathetic to the challenges of people who have never written a line of code.
