"Unveiling the Wonders of Coda, One Day at a Time" |

β
As we are transitioning to the new newsletter, our last three Coda docs of the day are Coda Doctorate projects by our own team.
β
Today's doc was created by Lexi, our incredible team lead, graphic designer and web design artist. She built the entire Coda Magic site and now the troylarson.com Kajabi site.
Happy Friday!
β
WAYYY back in 1996, I worked as a young consultant for Lear Corporation in Detroit, Michigan.
β
You may not know that name, but they did (and still do) design the car seats and electronics for major car companies like Ford, BMW and Volkswagen.
β
At that time, they were migrating all of their global 50,000 workstations from Windows 95 to Windows NT 4.0.
There was a really cool tool called Ghost that would let you set up a computer the way you wanted and then you burned it to a CD-ROM.
You could take that CD-ROM to another computer and "clone" the original computer using the CD-ROM.
Easy-peasy, right? Wrong.
β
What the makers of Ghost didn't anticipate was the variety of different computers and hardware that would break Windows NT.
So we would create an image on a Compaq computer and restore it to an HP.
It would crash almost immediately when it started up.
β
As a fresh-out-of-college excited consultant, I decided to write my own version of deployment software.
Without asking and on my own time, I built a POC using Turbo C++ and Visual Basic that would install Windows NT 4.0 on ANY computer and automatically install the correct drivers.
As a global tool, I added support for French, Spanish and Italian.
It was so successful, I was able to travel around the world for Lear deploying the software across Europe and North America.
β
This is what I love to do. And this is what I've done at every single job I've ever had.
I would typically get hired as a developer and within a couple months, I start automating.
They love it and my job changes to a full-time automation manager.
Every single job in the past 30 years.
β
My dream is to do this full-time in my own business.
β
On Monday, we're launching the Business AutomAItion Mastery.
β
This is an innovating new automation coaching program where I provide personalized 1:1 coaching to help businesses who are struggling with automation and AI.
β
Because of my full-time job right now, I don't have the time for full-time hands-on consulting, so I'm starting out by focusing on coaching and education.
β
It's a done-with-you program where we work together to build an automation and AI roadmap for your business and then I provide in-depth guidance and support to help you implement the plan.
β
Our new newsletter will be focused on the same content I write every morning, but we're also adding "What You Need to Know Today" and the "Tool of the Day."
The goal is to give you daily ideas to keep you informed on the latest automation and AI trends, but also to provide sparks of inspiration that can trigger new ways to look at your business automation.
β
This is going to be very exciting!
We have a LOT more coming!
See you on the other side!
We're moving out today!
If you don't want to miss out on my daily content, you need to sign up for the Business Automation Mastery Daily Newsletter!
New content!
New format!
Plenty of surprises!
β
See you tomorrow!
