"Unveiling the Wonders of Coda, One Day at a Time" |

As we are transitioning to the new newsletter, our last three Coda docs of the day are Coda Doctorate projects by our own team.
Today's doc was created by Aivee, who is our newest hire. She is a fantastic developer and her main focus right now is building custom packs for clients.
Happy Wednesday!
Remember when we all "cut the cable" and moved to Netflix to save money . . . and then we added Hulu and Disney+ and Paramount+ and Amazon Prime . . . and now we're right back where we started.
I'm starting to feel the same way about AI services.
We currently use:
- Perplexity (for real-time web search AI)
- OpenAI (for Chatbots and AI Assistants)
- TeamGPT (allows my team to use OpenAI with just one API key)
- Claude (for some content)
And maybe it's a weakness, but unless I rarely use something, I tend to pay for at least the basic service.
Especially with AI, spending $20/month for unlimited, top-quality results with no usage limits or lag is a no-brainer.
I've also been avoiding the "fringe" AI apps--it feels like there are a lot of slapped-together-over-the-weekend apps that simply pass canned prompts to OpenAI and return the results in a pretty UI.
And then there's the whole agent and chaining models where we move beyond single prompts and tie together different LLMs.
You could spend every day learning and never keep up.
For now, we're focused on our upcoming Business Automation Mastery launch.
We're solely focused on using the simplest and easiest-to-maintain AI in our automation. The one that gives us the best integration with our automations will probably stick around for us long term.
For now, I think it's looking like OpenAI Assistants.
We're moving!
